Girl saves sister from drowning in spa

Ambulance officers have praised a young Perth girl who saved her little sister from drowning in the family spa.

Seven-year-old Molly Devenny had passed out underwater after becoming stuck in the spa.

Her eight-year-old sister Chloe quickly stepped in and performed first aid she had learnt watching television.

"I sat her out on the side of the spa and then I just hopped out of the spa and carried her out to the backdoor," Chloe said.

Chloe has been honoured with a special bravery award for her efforts.
